Kayseri, Kahramanmaras and Kahta
Transfer from your hotel to the
airport to take an early flight from
Istanbul to Kayseri. Meet with your
guide at the airport. Drive east
while enjoying the awesome presence
of Argaeus Mountain, which inspired
legends such as the "Abode of the
Gods" and the Persians built a
Zoroastrian fire temple nearby.
After driving through the Anatolian
plateaus you will reach the
Kahramanmaras where you can taste
the best ice cream made in Turkey.
Finally we arrive in Kahta, located
under the shadow of Mt Nemrut.
Dinner and stay overnight in Kahta.
(Lunch-Dinner)
Day 2
Mount Nemrut, Edessa and Harran.
Depart your hotel before dawn and
drive to Mt Nemrut to watch the
fantastic sunrise from the summit.
You will be charmed by the gigantic
statues dedicated to the Persian and
Roman Gods and Goddesses located
around the great tumulus of the
Commegene King. While making our way
down the mountain we stop at the
tumuli and visit the ruins of
Arsemia, the capital of the
Commagene Kingdom. There are also
other tumulus’s belonging to the
Royal family and the Cendere Bridge
built by the Romans. After a late
breakfast at the hotel we depart for
Sanliurfa known as city of Edessa in
ancient times. You will visit the
cave which is believed to be the
birth place of the Prophet Abraham
and also the Sacred Fish Pool
mentioned in most of the holy books.
Finally, the village of Harran,
famous for its mud-brick bee hive
shaped houses. Visit the ruins of
Harran including the city walls, the
Islamic University and castle. After
visits drive back to Urfa and enjoy
the local bazaar. Stay overnight in
Urfa.

Day 3
Birecik and Gaziantep.
After breakfast drive to Birecik to
see the Waldrapps (The Northern Bald
Ibis) which are critically
endangered and under protection. We
then drive to Kayseri via Gaziantep
famous for its Baklava, a well known
Turkish dessert and delight. After
lunch we arrive in Kayseri and take
our flight back Istanbul. Transfer
to your hotel. End of our services.
